Film Review Pages
This review page is from quite an old magazine. We can tell because of the traditional black and white print. The thing I do like about this review page is that the images and design is quite innovative. The layout is very creative and has been set out in a nice way. The text is quite ordinary. It has only two columns in the centre with justified text alignment which is a big feature in magazines. This particular article works as like a poster. It shows some main shots from the film around it, has the actors name underneath the title and the main focus is the imagery rather than the text. I do like the layout very much, however, In mine I will definitely be adding colour. I think its interesting that the film is a comedy and yet the style of the film is completely reflected in the layout and the images used. Because the images have a comedy feel from all of the silly facial expressions and they are layout and slanted to give them more comedic value. I think even subtle things like that really add a lot to the design of a page like this.
